Join us for a fun and delicious friendly competition!
Registered bakers make their desserts at home (by category) bring them in on April 28 and put them on display for judging, tasting and sharing.
Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. Door prizes also available.
Open for registered scouts and adults/volunteers. Cost is $7 which includes entry, fun patch and 5 tasting tickets. Families invited to attend too.

Registered Girl Scouts and leaders/volunteers are eligible to enter.
Registration is required for bakers and will be confirmed. One entry per baker please.
Friends and family are invited to attend for free and can opt to sample desserts using purchased tasting tickets.
Tasting tickets may be purchased at the door for cash only, 5 for $5, 12 for $10.
Submit registration online and payment. Registration will be confirmed.
Payment is accepted in cash, check payable to GSCB Troop 757 or Venmo @Troop_757.
Payment by a troop is accepted. Check appropriate space at bottom of registration form.

Competition will be based on these categories, see photo examples below:
Daisies: Cupcake cakes; cupcakes put together in a shape and frosted.
Brownies: Dessert pizzas; bake your crust, pick your 'sauce' and your toppings!
Juniors: Spring decorated layer cakes; think spring! At least 2 layers, any flavor.
Cadette: International desserts; take inspiration from around the world. USA excluded.
Senior/Ambassador: Breakfast inspired desserts; breakfast for dessert!
Volunteers/Leaders: Triffles and parfaits; one large or many small cups, layer it up!
Every dessert should include a baked component.
Please include a list of ingredients on the table for food allergies.
Each baker should bring at least 30 small servings to share. Baker should be prepared to have or serve out small taster portions to take (think cocktail napkins, small cups or plates, cupcake liners etc.)

Judging will be based on 6 components:
Homemade-ness - is the dessert comprised of homemade items from scratch? 7 points
Adherence to category - does the dessert meet the category challenge? 3 points
Taste - is it yummy to eat? are the flavor components appealing? 10 points
Dessert Look & Presentation- is the dessert attractive, completed neatly and appealing? 10 points
Display- 5 points
Displays should include the baker's name, dessert name and recipe ingredients (portions are not required)
Be creative! Each baker will have a 4 foot banquet table portion to decorate. Bring a tablecloth, bring decor, dress festively!
Interaction with judges- can you tell them about your dessert, your display, your baking experience? 5 points
